Matúš Porubjak

Prof. PhDr. Matúš Porubjak, PHD.

he is a graduated geologist and philosopher with a specialization in ancient Greek philosophy and mythology and their relevance to current social and philosophical discourse. His main interests lie in the archaic period (Homer, Hesiod, Theognis, Tyrtaios), Socratic concerns and Plato. He analyses their influence, especially in the fields of ethics, politics and social affairs. During his career, he has completed a number of short study, research and lecture visits to the USA, Greece, Poland and Kazakhstan. He was a visiting professor in Poland (University of Silesia in Katowice).
