Mariusz Pisarski

Mariusz PISARSKY, PhD.

is an assistant professor at the Center for Bioethics in the Department of Philosophy and Applied Philosophy, University of Sts. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava and at the Department of Journalism and Media, University of Technology and Communication in Rzeszów, Poland. He is also a translator, editor and director of several digital literature projects in Poland, including translations of Michael Joyce’s hypertexts afternoon. a story and Twilight a Symphony, Stephanie Strickland and Nick Montfort’s poetry generator Sea and Spar Between. His recent publication activities include Two Ends and One Beginning: Notes on the Future of Writing in the Post-Medial Context, in: On the Fringes of Literature and Digital Media Culture, Brill, Amsterdam 2018, and the co-editing of collective monography Remediation: Crossing Discursive Boundaries. Central European Perspective, Peter Lang 2019.
