Against the Absurd Idea of Liberty as Freedom to Be Infected and to Infect Others with COVID

Interview with prof. P. Sýkora in the Slovak newspaper Pravda about the supposed conflict between individual rights and public health policy of Covid-19 vaccination.

P. Sýkora argues that painting public health policy of Covid-19 as an example of restriction of freedoms is misleading since people have the individual right to protect themselves, they have the right to defend their health. And the state has not only the right but also the duty to help them with anti-epidemic measures, of which vaccination is currently the best option against the health risks of Covid-19.
